How to Make Hard Seltzer at Home - Peach Lemonade

Learn how to make spiked seltzer with peach vodka lemonade.  This is a DIY white claw, and it's so easy to make without any special equipment.  I made peach lemonade vodka drinks, but you can use your favorite flavors with this easy recipe. 

Homemade Hard Seltzer

I don't drink much, but I do like a White Claw every now and then.  In the summer after spending time outside a hard seltzer tastes really good.

I like hard seltzer drinks because they are low in calories and don't have a lot of added sugar.  I don't like my drinks very sweet, so they are perfect for me.

White Claw has three flavor packs out now, but there's always a flavor in the packs that I don't care for.  I wanted to try some more variety, so I made homemade hard seltzer.

Many recipes involve making the sugar alcohol from scratch.  Sure, it probably tastes better, but I don't have time for that.  This is a quick and easy peach lemonade alcoholic drink that you can make in just few minutes.

Why is Hard Seltzer So Popular?

White Claw and other hard seltzers are crazy popular right now and for good season.  They have a light flavor like a seltzer and a little bit of alcohol.

They usually don't have added sugar, so they are a lighter drink for those who don't want to drink a lot of calories.  

They come in fruity flavors, and each brand has different flavors.  Some brands also have fruit and lemonade hard seltzers.

Besides being a lighter drink, hard seltzer is seen as gender neutral, so both men and women enjoy it.

Can Hard Seltzer Get You Drunk?

Yes, both the commercial cans and this homemade White Claw can get you drink.  The alcohol content is lower than a beer, but still drink responsibly.  

Can I Make My Own Hard Seltzer?

Yes, you can make homemade spiked seltzer.  There are ways to make DIY White Claw completely from scratch, but we aren't going to get into all of that.

For this spiked peach lemonade, you just need two ingredients: Peach Lemonade vodka and flavored seltzer water.

What Do You Need to Make Hard Seltzer?

Again, this is a quick and easy spiked peach lemonade.  I used a flavored vodka and a flavored seltzer water.  

You can get creative with different flavor options when you make homemade White Claw.  Try using different flavored vodka and seltzer waters.

What Does Peach Vodka Taste Good With?

To make peach vodka cocktails, you can either use a plain peach vodka like Absolut Apeach or Svedka Peach.  

I used Smirnoff Peach Lemonade.  Feel free to use different flavors to create your own unique DIY White Claw.

A peach lemonade alcoholic drink would be really good with lemon seltzer if you want more lemon than peach.

Try one of these flavors of seltzer with peach or peach lemonade:

• Orange
• Pineapple
• Cranberry
• Ginger
• Lime

I found the peach seltzer at Dollar General.  There are several kinds of seltzers at Walmart, Dollar General, and other grocery stores.

Peach Lemonade Hard Seltzer Recipe With Vodka

You will need the following to learn how to make hard seltzer:

• 1.5 ounces Smirnoff Peach Lemonade Vodka
• 6 ounces peach seltzer water
• Mint leaves (optional)
• Lemon slices (optional)
• Ice cubes 

How Do You Make Hard Seltzer at Home?

Step #1

Fill an 8 ounce glass with ice cubes.

Step #2

Pour in one shot, 1.5 ounces, of peach lemonade vodka.

Step #3

Top with peach seltzer water.  Add lemon slices and fresh mint for garnish if desired.
