DIY Christmas Star Wreath

Decorate your front door with a Dollar Tree star wreath.  This is an easy and inexpensive wreath that will look beautiful on your front door or in your home.  I like this DIY star wreath because it works for Christmas and winter, so you don't have to change your decor after the holiday.

Dollar Tree Star Wreath

I like making new wreaths each year, but I don't want to spend a lot of money on my decorations.  Dollar Tree has a lot of really cute decorations for wreaths, so that's my go to for shopping for craft supplies.

This year, I wanted to go with a more elegant themed wreath and not use traditional red and green.  While red and green are pretty for Christmas, I wanted something different this year.

I found some pretty stars while looking for supplies for Dollar Tree Christmas wreaths.  Bows aren't really my thing, so I skipped the hassle and the bow.

More Dollar Tree Christmas Craft Ideas

Dollar Tree has so many craft supplies for Christmas.  Some are with the craft supplies and Christmas supplies, but sometimes I get inspiration from around the store.

Here are some more Dollar Tree Christmas craft ideas:

You will need the following to make a DIY Christmas star wreath:

Grapevine Wreath - I didn't get this from Dollar Tree.  You can find them at most craft stores or on Amazon or Etsy.  I used an 18 inch grapevine wreath.

White Star Ornaments - I found these at Dollar Tree in the Christmas section.  You can also find white star ornaments on Amazon.

Clear Gems - I picked up a bag of clear gems at Dollar Tree in the floral section.  You can also find clear gems on Amazon.

White and Silver Foam Balls - These are from the bridal section at Dollar Tree.  You can also find them on Amazon.

Lamb's Ear - I haven't seen this at Dollar Tree lately.  You can find it on Amazon or at Walmart or a craft store.

Wire Cutters

Hot Glue Gun

How to Make a DIY Christmas Star Wreath

Step #1

Use the wire cutters to cut short sections of the lamb's ear.  Then use hot glue along the stem to attach to the grapevine wreath.  Press firmly in place.  I like to use hot glue gloves so I don't burn myself.

Step #2

Then add a generous amount of hot glue to the back of the white star ornaments and press firmly on top of the lamb's ear.

Step #3

Then add clear gems and white foam balls to fill in gaps.  Use hot glue to attach.

See how easy this Dollar Tree star wreath is?  I used mine for Christmas, but I'm also going to keep it up for winter.
