One thing I will say, however, is that I prefer grenadine and cola to cherry cola.

I find that grenadine and cola tastes better, and is more preferable for this recipe.

• You can add in different flavorings in lieu of, or in addition to, the grenadine. For instance, both vanilla (make your own vanilla extract or buy a high quality vanilla extract) and mango syrup are great flavors that work really well with this recipe. 
• I also recommend orange, pineapple,, and berry flavorings.
• You can use diet cola instead of normal cola to cut back on sugar and/or calories. 
• I recommend chilling the ingredients of this recipe so that your crown and coke slushie doesn’t melt as fast, either. 
• Further, I recommend using a high speed blender, if one is available, for the best results when making this recipe. 
• You can choose weather to add ice and use a blender, or you can combine the ingredients and pour the mixture over shaved ice. 

Do I Have To Make A Slush?

Nope, if you would prefer not to you can make this frozen crown and coke recipe without turning the drink into a slushie. To do this, mix the ingredients together and pour over the ice before enjoying!

Can I Make This for a Crowd 

Yes! This is a great crown and coke slushie recipe to make for a crowd. To do this, simply double or trip the ingredients as you see fit.

Can I Make a Crown and Cherry Coke Slush Ahead of Time?  

Although alcohol doesn't freeze, so this alcoholic Coke slushie won't completely freeze, I still don't recommend freezing before serving for best results.

However, you can freeze leftovers.  Let it thaw and stir before serving.  It doesn't tend to thaw evenly, so it's best when freshly made.

Crown & Cherry Coke Slush

Here's what you need to make this whiskey and Coke slush:

Ingredients

• 2 cups ice
• 5 ounces Coke
• 1 ounce Grenadine (optional)
• 2 ounces Crown Royal Whiskey
• Cherries for garnish

Step One

To get started making this whiskey and coke slushie, pour the crown royal, coke, and grenadine into your blender.

Step Two

Then, add in your ice.

Step Three

Blend the mixture until it has a slushie-like consistency.

Step Four

Garnish your frozen crown and coke slushie with a cherry and enjoy!
